How often should you use a jelly mask?
One to three times a week suits most people. Within that, it comes down to how often you want the ritual, and how fast you'll get through a jar of about 8 masks.

Pick your rhythm
| How often | Good for | A jar lasts | Subscription to match |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 or 3 times a week | A regular reset for skin that feels tight, oily or rough | About 3 to 4 weeks | Monthly |
| Once a week | A weekend treat, or skin that's fairly happy already | About 2 months | Every 2 months |
| Every week or two | Now and then, as a treat | About 3 months | Every 3 months |
Masking your neck as well uses more powder, so a jar makes fewer masks. To skip a delivery or change how often, message us at least 24 hours before your next charge.
Signs to space it out
If your skin feels tight or looks flushed after a mask, leave a few more days between them, or try Rose, which has no retinol, kojic acid or arbutin. Stop if you get any irritation.
If you use a retinol serum, keep it and your mask on different nights. This sample week shows one way to fit both in.
Patch test a new formula on your inner arm 24 hours before your first mask. Hyaluronic Acid contains retinol, kojic acid and arbutin, so wear sunscreen the day after using it, and don't use it on the same day as other retinoids or exfoliating acids. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, check with your doctor first.
Before a big day
A mask the night before an event is a nice way to make skin feel fresh and look rested in the morning. Rose, with its gentle rose scent, makes it feel like an occasion.
