Start with clean skin. Stir 3 level tablespoons of powder into 2 tablespoons of cool water for about a minute, until it's smooth like thick yoghurt. Smooth it on thickly with the spatula, keeping it away from your eyes, eyebrows, lips and hairline, then lie back for 15 to 20 minutes while it sets. Peel it off in one piece from your jaw upward, and rinse. You'll need a small bowl and water; the silicone spatula is in the box. The how-to guide has every step.

It depends on your skin, and no skincare suits everyone. Patch test first: smooth a little on your inner arm, peel it off after 15 minutes and wait 24 hours before your first full mask. Hyaluronic Acid contains retinol, kojic acid and arbutin, so wear sunscreen the day after using it, and don't use it on the same day as other retinoids or exfoliating acids. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, check with your doctor first. Stop if you get any irritation.

Each formula sets with alginate, a gel from seaweed, which turns the powder into a jelly that peels off in one piece. The rest depends on the formula: Hyaluronic Acid has hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, collagen extract and vitamin E, with retinol, kojic acid and arbutin; Rose has rose extract and sodium hyaluronate; Tea Tree has tea tree leaf extract and silica.
